Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I stopped by Reynolda Gardens for a quick stroll and was pleasantly surprised by how much this place has to offer. The gardens are beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully organized, making it easy to wander through and appreciate the wide variety of plants, flowers, and trees. Considering the relatively small footprint of the gardens, there is an impressive diversity of plant species packed into the space. The walking paths are peaceful and well-kept, making it a great place to stretch your legs, take photos, or simply enjoy some quiet time surrounded by nature. Whether you’re a gardening enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing stop, it’s definitely worth a visit. One of the biggest highlights for me was that the gardens are completely free to visit and were open on a Sunday, making them an easy and budget-friendly stop. If you’re in the Winston-Salem area, Reynolda Gardens is a wonderful place to spend 30 minutes to an hour enjoying the scenery and escaping the hustle of the city.

Im not from Winston Nor do we go there often so Im very unfamiliar with the area. As we passed the Renoylda Village, I saw the gardens so we turned around to visit. First off the Village shops are a cute setting but the gardens OMG!!! Theyre beautiful. It was nice to stroll through and take pictures. Evidently they have plants sales in April and September, according to the employee. I cant wait for the sales. They did have a handful of plants available today. I bought a Tea plant that was only $10... Worth the visit!!

Beautiful formal garden and plant conservatory greenhouse which is free to visit. The garden is owned & maintained by Wake-Forest University & is free to visit. There are several free parking lots within the adjacent Reynolda Village. This historic garden has an impressive collection of roses, vegetable & seasonal gardens, various fountains and arbors & seating opportunities. The garden is wheelchair accessible & has two large single stall restrooms just outside the gift shop. The conservatory greenhouse has an impressive array of orchids, succulents & tropical plants from all corners of the globe. This is an excellent setting for weddings & other special occasions. Trails and the Reynolda art museum are also on property.

We love coming to Reynolda Gardens throughout the year! They are beautifully maintained all year long. Always beautiful trees and flowers. Numerous spots for beautiful pictures. You can also reserve the grounds for a wedding! The indoor garden is also a beautiful space with exotic plants, some for sale. You can walk the entire grounds, pitch a blanket, play some soccer or throw a frisbee. Walk or run and do t forget the beautiful shops, cozy food and coffee spots as well as full restaurants! Stop by you won’t regret it!
